I am considering an abortion
People may react differently when discovering that they are pregnant. Perhaps it wasn’t planned, you got an unexpected test result, your life situation has changed, or you are in doubt as to what to do. At a time like this, it is quite common to have a lot of questions, but few or no clear answers. Nevertheless, you have a decision to make: whether to terminate or go through with the pregnancy.
Some people may feel the need to talk to someone, either alone, or together with a partner or co-parent. Others may feel a greater need for information and answers to questions.
It isn’t always easy to know what you need in such a situation. It is not uncommon to experience many different emotions, including joy, uncertainty, doubt, hope, fear or worry.
During our sessions, we find that the following topics are fairly common:
- Your situation at the moment
- Relationship with a partner/the co-parent
- Relationship with your family
- Your physical and mental health
- Feelings of guilt and shame
- Social or cultural pressure
- Thoughts about the future
Our focus, in dialogue with you, is on giving you the time and opportunity to talk about whatever you feel is important to you. This is meant to be a safe place, where you can speak openly without worries of what might be right or wrong.

All of our services are free of charge. We offer sessions in Norwegian and English. We can also book interpreters for other languages. A session here lasts about an hour, and you can talk with us on video, by phone, or at one of our offices. You decide how many sessions you need, and we will schedule these together.
